Přijďte poznat kouzelný svět dřevěných hraček. Co všechno může být zakleto do dřevěného špalíčku? Jaké druhy dřeva jsou nejlepší k vysoustružení koníka a panenky? Z jakých přírodních materiálů se v minulosti připravovaly barvy?

Výstava vás zavede do rozmanitých koutů naší země, kde se dřevěné hračky tradičně vyráběly již před staletím. Každá z těchto národopisných oblastí vtiskla dřevěné hračce jedinečnou podobu. Poznáte, čím jsou originální hračky z Krušnohoří a proč se na Valašsku hračky udily v peci. Prohlédnete si také dřevěné hračky vytvořené podle návrhů slavných českých umělců z přelomu 19. a 20. století a možná i zavzpomínáte na hračky, které si můžete sami pamatovat z dob svého dětství.
